Stellar Iron is incredibly durable, the geologic material is primarily the metal Lithium but more importantly, it appears to have been engineered in a way that holds a flexibility, making it primed for enchantment.
Most Stellar Iron made it way to Quelmar through extra-terrestrial crashes like the ones that brought Ensign and Thuchor to Quelmar. Presumably a lot of it could be found at Relith Tower
