Vessel is a 4/3 Protoforged Sorlock.
'Vessel' is not here right now.
Please. Leave a message for them.
They shall return shortly.
A curious 'soul' 'created' by The Founder of The Clan of Auton, their purpose is to act as a back-up plan, in case of an Elder passing without having prepared a replacement.
Rava is Vessel's Imp familiar, who usually takes the form of a raven, nesting upon their head in a green scarf Vessel found.
Physical Appearance
Vessel dresses in robes in attempt to hide as much of their exterior body to others; not out of shame, but of a cautious fear and a desire to not have to answer questions they're unsure of the answer to.
Personality
Vessel is a usually calm, inquisitive being, trying to be amicable with all, believing that compromise and discussion are more effective than threats. However, they firmly believe in the concept of 'speaking softly, and walking with a big stick'.
Few things will truly anger Vessel. Disrespectful people cause Vessel to yell at them for any pronouns they use for them. The worst thing for anyone to do is to threaten, or gods forbid, harm Rava; thankfully few have ever dared to, but those who have refuse to even tell the tale.
History
Vessel was laid to rest for an indeterminate amount of time, beginning approximately 700PR; their memory of their life beforehand unclear at present, due to how recently they awoke.
The few things Vessel is sure of regarding their past, is that they were created by the Founder of the Clan of Auton, who instructed them of the ways of the order, the clan's purpose, and Vessel's own purpose as the clan's redundancy. Some of the discussions between Vessel and the Founder are chronicled in Will Finds a Way.
Vessel awoke in the archives of Chateau non Loft in 825PR, to a small gaggle of very anxious and very upset scholars, still wrapping their heads around the death of their previous Elder, Boros. As Vessel's consciousness drifted into them, resuming from where they left off, a familiar voice emerged from them. Their awakening is chronicled in Boot Sequence.
After the events that left Isonhound enveloped in shadows, Vessel's mental state rapidly became more and more unstabl. After the removal of not one, but three Existence Crystals from their body, the matrix of magic that flows through their body became unstable, to the point where Vessel, Boros, and Jeb were all screaming out of Vessel's body. Luckily, Feyjin was able to perform a dive into Vessel's Soul Scape in an attempt to discover what to do in order to remedy the issue. This soul dive in chronicled in "I don't even know where my damn soul is."
Organizations
Vessel, fulfilling their duties as instructed by the Founder, acts as the current Wizened Elder for the Clan of Auton, continuing upon the quest that called Boros before them and Jeb before him. This quest led Vessel into the arms of the Protectors of the People, who welcomed them warmly, and allowed them a role in their council as head of research and development. They learn not only of the plights affecting the people of Isonhound and of fantastical, dread inducing creatures beyond comprehension, but what it means to live.
Powers and Abilities
Vessel would rather not fight if given the opportunity to; rather ironic considering the multitude of spells they wield for the express purpose of harming others. However, given the purpose of self-defense, or defense of others, those spells (and perhaps a hammer) will find some good use.
Attacks and Weapons
Vessel wields the shadow hammer "The Apprentice", which appeared once they retrieved Boros' goods from the Clan of Auton's hideout. The Apprentice is a +1 Mace and is RJ's Metamagic Weapon.
