The Frostfell Empire is a clan of Frost Giants currently led by Prince Ulftiir, the Rimelord.
About
The Frostfell Empire was founded by a clan of power hungry Frost Giants who sought to conquer the Material Plane. By making a deal with a Devil they forged an artifact known as The Ring of Winter's Wrath which bestowed great power to the giants and their kin. Using the ring in mere seconds they were able to construct a massive fortress made of solid ice to which they laid their claim. To forge the ring they had traveled to the Plane of Ice, but before they could wage war on the Material Plane the devil betrayed them, stealing the ring and trapping them in the Plane of Ice.
Generations later, the giants would eventually be ruled by Prince Ulftiir, the Rimelord, a powerful Frost Giant warrior and warlock. When The Glacial Rift opened, they were free to return to the Material Plane. Once free they began their search for the ring so they could resume their conquering plans.
The Frost Giants have repeatedly clashed with devils and infernal agents in the wilds of Amusa who appear to be attempting to hinder the giant's search. Many Frost Giants have been slain mysteriously be a large and powerful hooved infernal.
The specifics are unknown, but the giants of the Frostfell Empire appeared to have some form of relationship with an Ancient White Dragon who also resided on the Plane of Ice.
