Lone Wanderer was a goliath barbarian who briefly journeyed with the scavenger hunters known as AFEW. He crossed paths with them while hunting a bounty that had been placed on Rowan Buckman.
Attempting to make a quick buck, Lone Wanderer tried his hand as the Jewelspar Coliseum, where he bit off more than he could chew. His cape would later be passed on to his friend: Lone Twin
The Tragedy of Lone Wanderer[edit | edit source]
Lone Wanderer and Tree Friend — two Goliaths with a deep soul connection. The truest of friends. Inseparable. Sharing the belief that their God, Oghma, had brought them together for a sacred purpose — or, at least, that’s was Tree Friend believed.
Serving as guards for the Egumamune tribe in the high peaks of Fiddlehead Mountains, Lone Wanderer and Tree Friend were brutally attacked and left for dead. When Lone Wanderer came to, he found himself alone — the entire tribe had moved on, as is customary in Goliath Culture. Next to him, he saw blood-splattered snow and dragging footprints heading down the mountain. Tree Friend was nowhere in sight.
Lone Wanderer set out to find his one and only friend. He took to collecting bounties to gather enough funds to travel far and wide. Constantly searching.
Lone Wanderer became obsessed with reuniting with Tree Friend and therefore became obsessed with increasing his travel funds. He made it as far as Jewelspar where he found an opportunity to make enough funds to continue his trip. This opportunity proved fatal for Lone Wanderer, who died at the hands of a Hill Giant and an Owl Bear.

Tree Friend, being the stronger of the two friends, never fully went down during the attack on Fiddlehead. The tribe found Tree Friend in a semi-conscious state; Lone Wanderer was face down in the snow. Tree Friend was dragged to safety.
Upon recovery, Tree Friend’s first question was “Where is Lone Wanderer?” The tribe fell silent. Tree Friend raced to the site of the attack only to find Lone Wanderer’s footprints plunging down the mountainside. In an instant, Tree Friend knew what he must do.
Tree Friend abandoned the tribe. He renamed himself Lone Twin, in honor of his lost companion, and set out to find his other half.
