Madame Zamporium's Mistveil Faire was a travelling circus, aiming to bring a world of mysticism and wonder to the far corners of Quelmar. From mysterious magic to contorting acrobatics, exotic food, and enticing performances, the Faire dazzled the common folk of the realm for longer than most people can remember. Visitors often talk about the near-hypnotic timeless atmosphere entering the mass of tents and caravans and constant excitement brought about, like stepping into a realm of its own. More often than not visitors left with more questions and speculation than when they entered. Who or what actually is Madame Zamporium? What is Cotton Candy and where can I get more? Was that clown... weeping?
Many of society’s outcasts could find a home amongst the faire’s camps and performers. Races that were often looked upon with suspicion, were welcomed into the travelling family. One such example was the Tiefling Taru.
