Sofia Robicheau (Hunted Skin) grew up in Ravendean with her parents Paul and Bethany and her younger sister Emily. Sophia and Emily's relationship has always been rocky, but it got especially bad when Sophia started doing theater. While her parents had always been supportive, they would smother Sofia with praise whenever she got even a small solo line in a show, and Emily hated being treated like second best.
Sofia's parents like to joke that she was dancing before she could walk. Sofia loved the way that dance let her escape into a magical world, away from overanxious parents and bratty little sisters. She thought she would be a dancer forever, but in middle school, she decided to try out for the school musical since there was no dance team. In that production, she fell in love theater and the way musicals fused dance into their narratives. While having speaking lines or a solo song was always fun, and was often the way casting went for Sofia, she was just happy if she could be dancing on the stage. In 8th grade, the drama club took a field trip to a nearby city to see a show, and Sofia saw the sun for the first time. Even though she needed lots of sunscreen and thick sunglasses for the trip, she was enamored. She began to dream of graduating high school and joining a theater troupe that traveled all across Osugbo so she would never be trapped in the eternal darkness again.
In addition to theater, Sofia also found her two best friends Jason and James in middle school. The three of them used to be connected at the hip, playing DnD, reading Jason's comics, and exploring James's favorite places in the groves of Glowy Town. However, Sofia started to drift apart from the other two in 9th grade. Theater rehearsals were longer than they ever had been in middle school, and they were at the same time as the TTRPG club meetings that Jason and James attended. While they still hung out on weekends sometimes, and Sofia was always excited when they joined drama club as electricians for tech week, Sofia became sucked up into the social scene of the drama club and started seeing them less and less.
At the end of 9th grade, Sofia disappeared and was gone for all of Sophomore year. It seems to all of her classmates that she has returned for their Junior year, perhaps a little more ambitious and cutthroat than she was before her disappearance, but seemingly safe. What her peers don't know is that this "Sofia" is actually Robin posing as their missing classmate.
First Wave (Emmy, Robin, Vaeth, Charlie, Diana)[edit | edit source]
Sophia flirted her way into a date with Peter to Zoob's party, got cozy with new friend Charlie, and had a steamy hate makeout session with Lauren in the theater. Just kidding! She was actually hiding in the basement of the Ravendean estate until she was flushed out by Diana and the hotel's staff. Hopefully she can figure out what Robin was up to the past few days before it's too late.
Second Wave (Jason, James, Sophia, Sam, Zoob)[edit | edit source]
On Thursday, Sophia got a text telling her that Robin was down for the count and so it was time for her to return to Ravendean Prep. She was given a fresh pair of clothes and a note letting her know she was now friends with Charlie (who she had never met) and that she was going to Zoob's party on Friday with Peter (who she had also never met). She made it through conversations with Zoob, Sam, Jason, and Peter before hiding out in the theater during lunch. After an awkward talk with Jason and James where they all sort of talked about their crushes, it was time for Romeo and Juliet auditions! Sofia and Jason read together, and Sofia ended up being cast as Romeo. Relieved that she made it through the day, Sofia rushed back to the abandoned building where she was staying to take a nap so that she was ready for her usual nighttime wanderings.
