Lindwurms (sometimes called Landwyrms) are a species of beastial dragonkin found across many of Quelmar's wilds.
About[edit | edit source]
Unlike true Dragons, Lindwurms share a more beastial intelligence, making them only slightly more intelligent than their Wyvern cousins.
- Lindwurms are legendary for their bite. A single bite from a Lindwurm can sap the life and energy out of a creature, causing it to die after a slow painful exhaustion.
- Lindwurm bites are particularly effective against Dryads and New Dryad.
- Lindwurms often hunt in pairs, or rarely in even larger packs.
- Lindwurm saliva can be bottled, and a single use of it can give a level of exhaustion if applied.
Migration[edit | edit source]
It was said that Lindwurm migrated into Isonhound from the northern coasts (near Sparrow's Point) yearly.
Sometimes teams of hunters or heroes would station themselves on the north coast to try to keep the lindwurms from making it onto land. Typically all it took was 2 lindwurms to survive these "cullings", and it could lead to countless devastation. In the norths of Isonhound, stories of Lindwurms spread as they devastated the areas near the Chillcrest Forest.
