Manneo Kolae-Gileana is a Neutral-Good Goliath Lorehold Apprentice at Deroulex's Select Conservatory of the Arcane. If a traveler is what you want in the world, then Manneo is your guide, as he would be content to spend the rest of his life alone in quiet philosophical solitude. However, he would sorely miss all the new people in his life that he could meet, which is why he's made a quiet compromise of backpacking the world instead.

The world is new. Manneo's lineage from giants make that very clear to him, that the world is newly born. With such an unadvanced gold mine, everyone racing to leave their mark on the world, Manneo knows that his time in Quelmar may be short. After all, the wilds can be ruthless. But Manneo is happy to leave the glory to the others. His heart lies in the wild and in the souls of everything he meets, and he'd rather die seeing it than live afraid of it.
As such, through all the places Manneo traveled, he developed an...interesting reputation. A dreamer, an experimenter, and many times, people would describe him as being "unafraid to die." Manneo made no effort to correct them, because no correcting was needed. He was unafraid to die. He avoided it, of course, but by the way he always lived his life, he knew that he would die fulfilled. Until he met him.
A human, living in a coastal town in god knows where. Manneo can't get his face, his voice, everything about him, none of it can escape him. And now, he truly understands what it means to have a purpose in the world. And with all his values crumbling around him, he knows three things. The first - he never should have left him behind in that coastal town. The second, life is worthless without other people. And third, once he graduates, he will go back to his one true love.
