Ace Grimes is a divination wizard deep gnome from the city of Nightjar, and an aspiring journalist. They attended Katharda Acadmey during the War of the Realms.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ace is a very respectable 3.5 feet tall, with gray skin, white freckles and hair, and teal eyes. They have several piercings, and usually wear gray, brown, and teal colors.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ace is a snarky, rebellious, nosey, determined, fiercely loving gnome. They have a lack of understanding of many social cues, and are often relentless in their pursuit of a good story. They are passionate about newspapers and their friends.
History[edit | edit source]
They grew up in the underground city of Nightjar, raised by their grandfather. He was a loving but easily distracted guardian, and Ace often ran wild as a child. They started their first newspaper at age 7, and started publishing one at age 13. Later in their teenage years, they were recruited to attend Katharda University. They excelled at making themselves a nuisance, regularly landing in detention. It was a particularly memorable detention when they finally met a group of students that would become some of their closest friends. They were especially close with their roommate Frances and the kindly, strange Grandmush, but also became friends with Morchella and Steven. They were the Editor in Chief of the Katharda Chronicle, the underground school paper.
