The Church of Innovation was a suspicious group of scientists who enjoyed experimenting with dragon essences and body parts to develop new tools and weapons during the The War of Many Names. They rose to prominence after the 800s PR.
At least one known faction of the Church was based out of Deeplake in Isonhound in 825 PR.

Unable to do the dragon hunting themselves, the Church of Innovation often would hire out heroes and quest-takers to go slaughter dragons both old and young alike, and pay the heroes greatly for any substances they returned with.
Unfortunately, the Church of Innovation is attributed to having made the most discoveries surrounding the material known as Caeruleam during the early 800 PR era.
Notable Members[edit | edit source]
- Slofan - Lead researcher out of the Deeplake complex. Bullied by players to flee town after they discovered the harvested bodies of young dragons in his laboratory chamber. Later status unknown. Said to be very "Professor Oak" like, and was known to have conspired with The Green Stag at least once.
