Since his youth, Caelum has always been a curious elf with a love for learning. While he didn't always have the means to study, he's always had a knack for getting into places he shouldn't be. He has a firm belief that knowledge should be shared and hates secrets (especially if they're being kept from him).

Early Life[edit | edit source]
Not much is known about Caelum's birth, and if you ask him, you'll learn his earliest memories have been on the streets of Galik. He spent his youth finding odd ways to make ends meet, and occasionally sneaking into a library or two. When he has the time, he loves sneaking into universities and sit in on classes to practice and learn magic.
The University Incident[edit | edit source]
In one of his book thieving escapades through a forbidden section of a university, he nearly gets caught by being too careless. With his back against the wall, he grabs a random book to find a spell to cast to get him out, but instead finds himself whisked into the book, face to face with a noble genie. Impressed with Caelum resourcefulness, and seeing an opportunity to gain power, the genie offers Caelum a pact to..."fund" his academic pursuits, in exchange for sharing whatever he learns back with his patron and sight in his left eye as a down payment. Newly empowered, Caelum now wanders the land searching for any tomes or scrolls in his quest for knowledge.
