Alenka is a starchild Ghost Writer Warlock, who's traveled far to be a part of this journey

Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]

There's something about her that draws people in, though what it is, no one knows. She has light lavender skin marred by shining scars that you almost think is writing. Her eyes burn like twin stars, seemingly seeing things through time and space. Her horns are like pillars of light erupting from her head before seemingly solidifying further from her head. She tends towards cool colours and, oddly enough, when she’s in contact with metals for long enough, no matter how small the piece, it turns into a light-blue colored metal called Lightmetal; though it retains the properties of whatever metal it was before.

Personality[edit | edit source]

She's odd to say the least, but for as strange and foreign as she is, she's also weirdly familiar. Most of the time, she's well composed on the outside, though sometimes her control slips and her eyes dart back and forth and she MUST write. It's for these occasions that she keeps a few blank books on-hand, but if they're not available, she'll take her quill to anything she can write on; walls, the floor, the ceiling if she can reach, furniture, more often than not, she takes her quill to her own skin-- carving the words into her flesh and making herself glow all the brighter.

Were one to open up one of her many filled books, they would see borderline mad scribbling of stories and lines, all out of order and with no coherence even to her. Some passages even seem to be repeated over and over, as if frustrated their story wasn't getting told fast enough. The writings seemingly have no relevance to each other and create no consistent story, though if someone smart enough spent enough time pouring over them, they would see they're parts of different stories and could be connected in the right order with the right details. The language of the writing would also vary from very formal Common, to old slang, to Shakespearian cadence and word choice, though all in her distinct handwriting and lightly glowing with her magic.

History[edit | edit source]

The heroes saved the realm during the Sundown. The day was saved, all rejoiced... But something was left behind. The Soul Star, left behind where it was abandoned, still attached to the amplification artifacts. No one could have imagined the result of overcharging this dangerous artifact. Over the next five years, laying in the citadel, it would fizzle out and eventually die; dust and smoke slowly billowing out and settling along the ground. Once it died, the mist coalesced and let out a bright light that terrified the city. There, next to the now-burnt-out Soul Star on the Feast of the Moon, lay a brightly shining woman. She knew what she was, but it would take years for her to be able to cope with the circumstances of her existence. She was drawn to Isonhound, which is where she made her way to.

Sometime after her arrival in Isonhound, she was attacked and kidnapped by an illuminati-like force known as The Wold Order. They told her that she was harboring an incredibly dangerous dragon soul as part of her many voices, and that they would need to pull it (and any other dangerous souls) out of her. She did not consent to the unraveling of her existence, but eventually was coerced by her Greedy Green allies to at least give it a try. A fatal mistake.

Alenka was eventually subjected to the astral teleporter located in Relith Tower, where, upon activation, the hundreds of souls inside of her Soul Star were scattered to the winds, teleported randomly across Quelmar, forming a fractured constellation of ghosts that swarmed the continents. Notable, one of the largest and scariest of these souls was Vezoth, the herald of Tiamat.

Languages[edit | edit source]

She can speak Common, Sylvan, and Draconic; though she can read any kind of writing.

Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]

The souls that reside inside her fuel her magical abilities and allow her to do things that others cant. She can create magical bottles of ink called Eldritch Ink that can aid in her spellcasting, and appears the same colours as the light that shines from within her (as seen in the above picture). She has also gained proficiency in Arcana and History on account of the numerous powerful and well-travelled souls within her. She also decided to take the Pact of the Tome, though this will also be written in as if it were a normal book should she run out of things to write in.

Attacks and Weapons [edit | edit source]

She's a warlock. Of COURSE she has Eldritch Blast. I imagine her Eldritch Blast looks like she pulls the magic out of her tome and fires it at whoever or whatever she's aiming at. She has a few daggers and a sickle as well if people get too close to her, as well as leather armour.
