Race Features[edit | edit source]
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Intelligence score increases by 1
Age. Elan are created from humanoids who come from psionically enhanced blood, a process that carries itself like a recessive gene. Elan carry a reservoir of psychic energy that prevents their bodies from aging. Elan who live for over 1000 years old are considered to be old.
Alignment. Elan tend towards Lawful alignments since they have a strong sense of community.
Size. Elan have the same physical charistics as their bloodline (either orc, elf, or human) though they tend to be taller rather than shorter than the average subject of their inherited race. Their size is medium.
Languages. Elan speak common and an additional language based on their subrace: Elf, Orc, or one additional language if they are human blooded.
Psionic Talents. Elans' reservoir of psychic energy allows them to accomplish small psionic feats naturally. Elan can use one of the below abilities once per day at 1st level, and an additional usage/day at levels 5, 11, and 17
- Psionic Talent (Repletion). Elans can gain sustenance from their psionic power. An Elan can instantly gain the effect of one day's food and water. If an Elan choses to do this they can also survive in extreme environments for 24 hours, this makes them immune to exhaustion from heat or cold.
- Psionic Talent (Resilience). As a reaction to taking damage, the Elan can choose to halve the damage taken by that attack.
- Psionic Talent (Resistance). As a reaction to having to make a intelligence, wisdom or charisma saving throw against a magical effect, the Elan can choose to gain advantage on that saving throw.

Elven Blooded[edit | edit source]
- Darkvision. Elan often make their homes underneath human cities and so they are given superior vision in dark and dim conditions as part of the conversion from elves. You can see in dim light within 60 ft of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Human Blooded[edit | edit source]
- Empathic. As humans have courted the races of the realm and learned to get along with most, human blooded Elan can tap into one additional psionic talent.
- Psionic Talent (Empathy). As an action, you can learn the thoughts an NPC has for you or someone else they are in proximity of. This includes if they are lying, if they are hostile, if they are eager to please, etc.
Orc Blooded[edit | edit source]
- Menacing. You are proficient in the Intimidation skill.
