Greenfang was a village of Kobolds that grew along the Ssaphibian River in 826 PR

History[edit | edit source]

Following the near extinction of the Ixen Jonal in 821 PR due to an attack by the Kol Company, the sole survivor, Kihlek Vaess, dedicated himself to rebuilding the tribe. With the assistance of Shnek, they successfully hatched six kobold eggs, leading to a new generation and the eventual growth of their lair into a village.

Development[edit | edit source]

As the kobold population increased, the Green Fang's lair expanded into a small town along the river between Seglock and Saltport. This caused some minor tension with neighboring cities, but no major incidents have occurred. The kobolds significantly contributed to the reconstruction and improvement of the nearby town of Sumpter after the Umbral Flood. Few kobolds pursued adventuring, and the relative safety of the area, along with the presence of two veteran adventurers among its elders, improved living conditions and lifespans. They began learning crafts and fine detail work suited to their size.

Notable Residents[edit | edit source]

  • Kihlek Vaess: The sole survivor of the original Ixen Jonal massacre, Kihlek led the tribe's resurgence and served as clan head for two decades before resuming his adventuring life.
  • Shnek: Despite significant differences and strange ways, Shnek proved invaluable in assisting with the hatching of the new generation and secured a place in Ixen Jonal history for his actions.
