Paulette Strummings was the second wife of Anema E. Core. A human spy for the city of Rwendia, Paulette played a major role in the prevention of The Oppidan War, working in neighboring city Lunas and spying on the activities of rich locals.

Anema would meet Paulette while studying up on the history of the various cities on the Oppidan peninsula. While suspicious of his investigations, Paulette would accept an invitation to dinner with Anema, leading to a disastrous first date that ultimately ended in Anema's arrest.
Paulette would be mother to Anema's second and third children.
