Ripjaw is a dangerous and fiercely intelligent Gnoll artificer who has heavily modified their own body with Warforged parts. They are the chief of the Gearhead clan and one of the primary leaders of the Gnoll horde in Amusa. They are a antagonist in Within the Wicked Wilds.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ripjaw is an aged and mangy Gnoll who has heavily modified their body with mechanical parts. They have replaced their feet with motorized wheels, replaced their right arm with a multi-purpose cannon, and have affixed air skiff thrusters to their back.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ripjaw like most Gnolls are ruthless and manic, but unlike his brethren is able to see the bigger picture. He is highly focused on his work of both creating powerful war machines and modifying his own form, and will lash out at anyone who disrupts his concentration no matter who they may be.
History[edit | edit source]
Ripjaw was a manor Gnoll Chieftain of the Gearhead clan operating on the outskirts of Galik. His clan was subjugated by The Gnoll King and he rose to serve as the King's right hand, incorporating the Gearhead clan into the growing Gnoll horde in Amusa's jungles. With the king's vast demonic resources Ripjaw was able to create a magical forge within Camp Emberclaw and began to design powerful war machines for the Gnolls to use. After the forge would be destroyed by members of the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company, he would conduct multiple operations across Amusa to begin harvesting magical materials to restart his forge, which included the razing of the Kobold village Thinwhistle and turning it into a prison.
After rebuilding the forge using a magitech core harvested from Thinwhistle he managed to rebuild the forge and resumed creating weapons for the horde. Ripjaw would eventually meat his death and defeat at the hands of company members during The Raid on the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company.

With his modifications Ripjaw is incredibly fast. He is heavily armored and wields sharp serrated blades. His arm cannon can fire blast of explosive fire and a powerful harpoon shot.
