Lieutenant Azha is an infernal Fire Giant and is the right hand of the Pit Fiend Kalzivach. She was sent to the material plane to stop the advance of The Frostfell Empire in Amusa, and later served her master in locating the legendary Lost Hoard.
Lieutenant Azha is an NPC in the 5e Community Campaign Within the Wicked Wilds.
Physical Appearance
Lieutenant Azha appears as a towering fire giant with ashen skin, short black hair, and curing infernal horns. Her eyes shine like burning embers and smoke wisps out of her mouth when she speaks. She is tall even fore a giant and has powerfly built muscles. She wears a set of infernal golden plate forges in the Hells and wields a massive morning star that burns with hell fire.
History
In life Azha was a minor fire giant warlord. She would go onto make a deal with the Pit Fiend Kalzivach to further her dreams of conquest. In return for Kalzivach funding her war efforts in life, she would promise to serve him in death.
After many years of war, she would eventually fall in battle and rise again in the Ten Hells. Here she gained the title of the Golden Hellion and served as Kalzivach's right hand, and the master of securities for the 7th Infernal Bank.
When Frost Giants from the Frostfell Empire reemerged in Amusa, Kalzivach sent Azha into the material realm to put a stop to the empire's efforts. Traveling around the continent, she hunted down and slew many of the giants who had already exited The Glacial Rift. During this time she also oversaw the summoning of many other Devils in service to her master.
When more Frost Giants began to emerge from the rift, Azha worked with a team of Tempest Brother expeditionaries to retrieve an infernal artifact from the Frost Giants' fortress which was preventing her master Kalzivach from entering into the realm.
After the Frostfell Empire recovered an artifafact known as The Ring of Winter's Wrath, Lieutenant Azha along with her master made a deal with the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company to assist in fighting back the Frost Giant threat as long as the company followed through with slaying the Frost Giant ruler Prince Ulftiir. During The Strife of Fimbulwinter Azha would lead a military force of devils to invade the Frost Giants' castle and would go onto plunder the empire's records room.
After the Frost Giants' banishment back into the Elemenal Plane of Ice, Lieutenant Azha would remain in the material plane. Under orders from her master, she would search for the treasure known as the Lost Hoard. Her efforts would be cut short though. Shortly after returning to the infernal city of Minauros to reconvene with Kalzivach, a team of Tempest Brother adventurers arrived seeking to kill her master. During the battle, Lieutenant Azha would be slain while her master escaped.
