Bywater is a halfling community located in the quiet hills of Alest, Osugbo.
The Athiest[edit | edit source]
Bingo Barghest was not always a stern nonbeliever. In his youth he was an adamant follower of Pelor, god of life. But he had grown sour and bitter over the years. A game arose among the gods to see which divine power could convince this Athiest to once again believe in the power of the gods. Notably, the god Corellon sent his follower Anema E. Core to represent him. Other powers present included Chronepsis, Garl Glittergold, and Asmodeus.
Behind the Screen[edit | edit source]
- Bywater was invented for a one-off as a parody of Lord of the Rings' Hobbiton, Bingo of course, parodizes Bilbo Baggins. In the one off, a group of supernatural heroes arrive calling for Bingo, in a far-exaggerated version of Gandalf's arrival.
- The name Bywater comes from another neighborhood in The Shire (again a LotR reference)
