After spitting blood (literally and metaphorically), they were able to subdue the drakkoth and barely keep the chief alive. Trina just needed a moment to take a deep breath, ask Arlin for help with the aching bones, but then a fucking gold dragon showed up. He (or she) killed everyone. Literally, every last drakkoth. Her friends and she barely made it out alive.</blockquote>

About[edit | edit source]

Drakkoth blood was lethal to Cheshire's Goblins.

History[edit | edit source]

At one point, a tribe of Drakkoth unwittingly served Feredemius in his corrupted shadow state, psionically influencing them as they trudged over his lair deep in the Northern Snowy Mountains. This also put them in league with Longfang on at least one occasion.

Attacks on the North[edit | edit source]

In 825 PR, the village of Hallasen in North Isonhound was besieged by drakkoths, likely under the psionic influence of Feredemius. They drove the Crystal dragon Echemus out of this sanctuary, and in the process, set off a chain of events that would eventually alert Eros to Feredemius' influences on the realm. Most of these specific Drakkoth, however, were killed by Grandmush, Vadath, Arlin, Kihlek, Tokaxand Nockdus, who were aided in battle by Echemus who had returned to the site under his typical polymorph of a Lunaran priest.

The Civil War[edit | edit source]

From the logs of Trina, on the Isonhound Drakkoth in 825 PR:

However, a call by Falgram and the Order of the watchful eye got our attention. They were looking for a group of heroes to talk with a nearby drakkoth clan. Apparently, they wanted to sign a peace treaty. In exchange for protection the drakkoths would supply them with blood, freely.

The way there was almost uneventful, but for a bunch of greedy Lizardfolk. The actual meeting with the drakkoth clan was more interesting. The chief was not against joining forces, even though he complained that his people would be bled dry if they tried to provide this volume of blood. Arlin and the rest had an excellent idea of providing healers during the blood donation process. Trina knew enough of bodies and their functions to realize how useful this would have been for them. The chief agreed and was ready to sign the peace treaty, but then things got heated. His lieutenant challenged him and chaos unleashed. Her group tried got dragged into this civil war; keeping the chief alive was their priority. Trina got a few harsh hits on her; it was so painful and scary. Thankfully, a few new necromantic draining spells kept her alive. Nevertheless, she decided that being up so close to combat was not worth it.

Her friends and she barely made it out alive.
