Prestigious artisans hone their craft over many successful iterations of this graffiti - the constantly shifting colors and proximity to the ocean have given Ravel the nickname "Opal of the Coast". Ravel and her sister city to the south, Galik, are the two hubs of activity on eastern Quelmar for any artist to come and learn, create, and sell their work.
The underbelly of the city is known as the Unravel, and is inhabited by a notorious group.

Being so close to the The Howling Crag, the city was one of the first afflicted by The Paladin's crusade which would later be known as The Arctic Autumn.
