But the giants would be betrayed by the devil who stole the ring and stranded them in the plane of ice. The ring would then disappear from history.

The Ring of Winter's Wrath was crafted by a clan of Frost Giants with the assistance of a powerful Devil using the icy magics of the Plane of Ice. The ring gave the giants amazing power, and they established themselves as The Frostfell Empire. But the giants would be betrayed by the devil who stole the ring and stranded them in the plane of ice. The ring would then disappear from history.
