Most Sanctified Disciples of Sardior

The Most Sanctified Disciples of Sardior (or MSDoS for short) were a group of powerful Warforged who dedicated themselves to restoring their one true god: Sardior.

Members

Like other warforged, the five leaders of MSDoS were known by a single epithet, derived from an item or title that they were attached to. In this case, the MSDoS members decided to rename themselves in the name of Sardior, taking on the 5 ruby court titles.

History

The Warforged people and Sardior have always had an enigmatic connection. Gem dragons have been able to hide creatures from dragonkind, and the Warforged are also powered by a type of gem known as an Existence Crystal, which coincidentally also makes them invisible to dragonkind.

The most popular and agreed theory among Quelmar scholars after 825 PR was that the Warforged crystals are likely some sort of essence or remnant of Sardior the crystal dragon god himself. As a result, some Warforged began to believe they were literally crafted from Sardior's body and blood.

Holy Mission

Court is Called. The Five Complete the Four. The Ruby Will Be.

In late 825 PR, they were called to order by a mission delivered by a Zodar: "Court is Called". This began a long line of investigations into the Gem Dragons of Isonhound that eventually led them to believe that there was an Obsidian Dragon lurking in the mountains, a false theory that tied into The One That Waits, who was a black-colored dragon, but was in fact a shadow corrupted Emerald Dragon.

In hoping to stop this "evil" "obsidian" dragon, the team hoped to find a way to recall or rebirth the essence of Sardior again, thus leading to the prophecy they received to come true: "The Ruby Will Be"

The Gem Dragon Construct

In order to revive Sardior, they planned to reunite the Ruby Court, but when it seemed some court members were dead or missing, they began a plan to create a massive Gem Dragon Construct, which could be piloted and take the role that a Gem Dragon Court Member would take. This construct required all the same ingredients as an Airship: Wovenstone, Fellstone, Caeruleam, and Aerocrystal.

Unfortunately this put them at direct odds with fellow groups Pendergras Industries, The Order of the Watchful Eye, and The Wold Order, who had ALSO begun making Airships at the same time, using the same ingredients. Though MSDOS originally asked peacefully for the materials, they were denied, and were forced to steal and do highway robbery to get what they needed.

Warforged-Centaur

So before making their big dragon construct, they first worked to convert a number of Warforged allies into "Getaway vehicles", swapping out their legs for quadrupedal wheels, as well as outfitting them with Stellar Iron armor, recovered from a crashed ship from Astral Space (the one belonging to Thuchor). These centaur, more like motorbikes, could now commit highway robbery and get in and out safely when stealing from traveling wares vessels.

MSDOS was made up of 5 colored crystal warforged: One for each member of the Ruby Court.

They took possession of the gold egg of Bazzniagalvinica after her death in hopes that they could use it as a vessel to rebirth Sardior, or a lesser Ruby Court member.
