The Seven Cities are a group of interdependent populations located in central Pteris, some at the base of the Fiddlehead Mountains, while others up on the cliffs.
Being located near Thri-Kreen territory, it was in the cities' best interest to unite their resources and ensure the communal safety.
In the late 700s PR, all seven of the cities were connected via an Iron Horse, the first system of its kind in all of Quelmar.

The Heist of Cirberus

Rather than burn it to the ground though, the combined efforts of Lich and The Beggar's Bodega were able to leave a small amount of material with AgraWealth to continue their research without needing to steal or hurt any living things.
Behind the Screen
- The idea for 7 actual cities forming a loose union is inspired by the continent (Also known as "Seven Cities") in the Steven Erikson fantasy novels. As a final homage, the capital of these actual cities is also known as Ugarat, though in the stories it is not nearly as central or important. The similarities end there.
