Aritian was a kossuthian flamewalker, also known as a cleric. Aritian served as Kossuth's chosen vessel after he crossed paths with the group known as AFEW, who were on a mission to destroy the Tools of the Primordial Ancients.
History[edit | edit source]
Aritian infiltrated the temple of Grumbar in eastern Amusa in 695 PR. During the infiltration, his clergy was attacked by both Banites and Grumbaran priests. Only 3 members of the clergy survived, as as Aritian was the senior priest, he became the FlameFather (or as his friends would call him---Flame Daddy).
The three serving priests were named Devoted Blaze, Inspired Forge, and Righteous Flame. Notably, Devoted Blaze would continue to follow Aritian all the way to the Arctic Altercation.
In his new title, Aritian had 3 serving priests at his disposal who he would continue to call on to help the mission of AFEW in destroying the Tools of the Primordial Ancients.
After helping destroy those artifacts, Aritian received a final vision from Kossuth, thanking him and confirming him as Flame Keeper, an acolyte so powerful, and a proven leader, Kossuthians everywhere will burn his name in praise of his actions taken…which ultimately have saved Fire itself from being extinguished forever.
