Gith

The Gith are the spawn of many millennia of experiments performed by the Illithid. Gith are not native to Quelmar, but have come from the same mysterious birthplace as the Illithid, a realm somehow connected to the Underdark (a plane they call the Mirrorand) and known as the Far Realm.

About

Gith have green, rough skin, and piercing eyes still haunted by their life in hiding from the Illithid. However, Quelmar and its surrounding planes are also home to countless warrior Gith who are hunting down the Illithid and making them pay the price of their inhumane actions. As such, anywhere can be a battle ground in the Endless War.

Society

Truly alien in every sense of the word, Gith are incredibly durable and able to survive in every plane of the Quelmar Universe. Because of this, colonies of Gith can be found hidden almost anywhere and at any time.

Notable Populations

• A large number of Gith were brought to Nymphsview and enslaved under the Dark Sons. Trapped by powerful psionic magic, they were forced to do manual labor and work on creating weapons of mass destruction by the city's leader solomon. However, Solomon's sister and Anema E. Core (among others) arrived and put a stop to the operations in 745 PR. What happened to the Gith, and where they went after being freed, remains a mystery.

Subraces

Haragitu

A half-gith, Haragitu are the incredibly rare offspring of Gith and another humanoid race (typically human or elf). One known colony of Haragitu is Faraway Land.
