Shelmlock eventually trac ked down the Haragon criminal and gathered enough evidence so that the city of Galik was able to sentence Jellenot Lightfoot to life in prison, sending the crimelord away for good. Even after Jellenot Lightfoot was locked away, Shelmlock continued his work as a reporter, knowing that if he didn't tell the story, one one else would, and it could lead to others getting hurt.
He continues to work for the Galik Herald in his old age and has been known to hire freelancers to assist in his work to tell the next great story.
