Garl Glittergold is one of the six Creator Gods of the realm, said to have created Quelmar (and the greater Quelmar Universe) and placed the first creatures on its lands. Glittergold is said to have created and given Quelmar the Gnomes.

The Censer of Glittergolden Eyes[edit | edit source]
The Censer of Glittergolden Eyes was a holy relic of Glittergold that at one point came under the possession of Laergul. The censer provided a massive range (over 1000 square feet) of divine protection against scrying and other divinations. It is unknown why or how the faculty of Laergul came across the artifact, but they insisted that it was put in place to shield the school from jealous rivals and other bardic colleges who might try to spy on the school or its students.
The Censer worked, not by nondetection, but instead by casting a False Vision when anyone attempted to spy on the school, they would instead be met with preprogrammed illusions calling out the cheaters, and demanding they pay the school tuition if they would like to attend a lesson.
The Censer's false vision could be altered by a competent enough illusionist.
