The Seven Heavens of Mount Celestia is the epitome of lawful good in the Quelmar Universe. One of many Outer Planes, Mount Celestia is ruled over by many lawful good gods, and is a welcome haven for all looking for mercy and understanding.
About[edit | edit source]
There are five sacred ideals that Mount Celestia reveres. No matter where you go on the mountain, you can expect to find some sanctuary of these ideals.
- Justice
- Kindness
- Order
- Grace
- Mercy
Due to it's kind and loving position, Mount Celestia is often underestimated or misjudged. Besides harboring all those worth saving, Mount Celestia also has one of the largest and fiercest militias in the cosmos. It is said that the very top layer of Mount Celestia is the greatest treasure in the universe, which has led to countless invasions over the years. However, despite attacks from The Abyss and The Ten Hells, Mount Celestia stands pure and guarded.
Ascending[edit | edit source]
The mountain can not be traditionally climbed, and ascension is only possible through soul-bearing acts that reveal one's true nature. It is said that any soul in Mt. Celestia will "rise to it's level of purity". For mortals, this can often mean only one or two levels of purity. But after giving up mortal needs such as food and water, spirits can find themselves swiftly ascending levels, reaching a paradise unseen by mortal eyes.
Seven Heavens[edit | edit source]
Lunia[edit | edit source]
The base of the great mountain, Lunia is home to the Silver Sea, a vast and endless ocean of holy water. It is also home to countless small populations who have built themselves up at the bottom of the mountain. These little towns, such as Hearthtown, are home to both locals and visitors alike.
Mercuria[edit | edit source]
Also called The Golden Heaven, Mercuria is a tame valley, a lush Savannah full of healing plants and feel-good energies. Small streams and forests dot this golden landscape, and those who have ascended to Mercuria will always be happy to guide others.
Venya[edit | edit source]
The Pearly Heaven, Venya is coated with a granular, radiant, snow. The snow is not cold, and is often mistaken for fog or cloud-matter. It is here that many archons live. Venya is the first layer often deemed "off-limits" to those trying to invade Celestia. If you arrive in Venya uninvited, you can be sure to receive a very unwelcome greeting.
