Pearl Dragon

Pearl Dragons (or River Dragons) were an elusive and rare type of Gemstone Dragon that tended to stay out of the public's eye by laying low on the bottom of riverbeds.

About

Unlike other dragons, Pearl dragons had a surefire way to resurrect themselves after death, but only if all of their bones could be recollected and brought into a river, from which they reattune with the dragon's spirit, who is reborn.

Abilities

Pearl Dragons have the "Sea King's Blessing", which lets them breathe air and water. They also can cause rain via their storm-cloud breath weapon. The rain lasts for up to 4 hours in a two-mile radius.

• A river dragon who died and mentored the dhampir Cyanocitta from a spirtual purgatory, ushering her to find a way to help her live again.

• the father of Tlayohualcoatl, who was captured and used as a servant in The Firegates, asked to impersonate and scare would-be adventurers as part of a contrived trial.
  • MentztonalCoatl spearheaded the effort to find his daughter's bones after his release from the Firegates by heroes of the Greedy Green including Kluck, Tristram, Volrac, Linden Rue, Hugo, and Markoth.

Hatlantlcoatl

• A dragon most known for his infamous "midlife crisis", where he spent 50 years carousing and arousing every being who would look his way across Osugbo and Amusa.
• List of offspring include: A drakkotaur who became a teacher at the University of Xyrneiros, an albino wyvern who became a hunting target of the Levinkan navy, a half-dragon elf residing in Galik, etc.
