Dorian Shroud was an expert thief who performed heists all across the realm. His spirit would be reanimated by the Pit Fiend Kalzivach to recover all four pieces of The Aestorian Codex.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Dorian Shroud appeared as an ethereal spirit with a skull head, wearing a glowing white coat and top hat. He wielded a a cane with a glowing purple gem at the end that exuded necromantic energy.
History[edit | edit source]
In life, Dorian Shroud was a realm traveling thief performing heists all over Quelmar. His luck would run out when he attempted to steal from the Lathandarite church in Xender City. After getting caught by the priests of the church, he would be handed over to city authorities where he would be put to death. His soul would end up in The Ten Hells and would be claimed by the Pit Fiend Kalzivach.
Hundred of years later Kalzivach would reanimate Dorian as a spirit in order to recover all four pieces of the Aestorian Codex. Dorian learned that the Tempest Brothers were in possession of one of the codex pieces and began to rob any banks associated with the company. His efforts were inhibited by company members and he moved onto trying to find a second piece.
Dorian discovered that the company had discovered the location of another piece of the codex at the bottom of the Luggland sea. Dorian proceeded to possess one of the divers the company hired and joined them as they journeyed into the deep sea. His ruse was discovered during a battle with deep sea sirens and the transformed Minerva Tempest and so he used his ethereal abilities to abscond with the second piece of the Aestorian Codex.
Hoping to expeditate his search, Dorian Shroud went behind Kalzivach's back and utilized some of Kalzivach's devils to cast a powerful necromantic spell across the town of Ymbtrymman, raising n army of zombies to aid in his search. His plans would be stopped though by a team of heroes who reversed his spell and stole back Dorian's piece of the Aestorian Codex. For going behind his back, Kalzivach dragged Dorian Shroud back into the Hells to be tortured for all eternity.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Dorian Shroud possessed all of the abilities of a ghost, including flight, phasing through walls, and stealing the youth of mortals.
