History of Violet Lorinda

Chapter 1

The story of Violet Lorinda starts 94 years ago in this tiny little village called Luanda, both her mom and dad were tieflings. Her dad left her mom before Violet was even born, to this day Violet does not know if he is even alive at this point in her life. Moving on she was raised by her mom until she was about 5 years old.

One day on a spring afternoon, Violet's mother was braiding Violet's long beautiful black hair (the same style as her picture) when all of a sudden they heard screams and people yelling. Their village was under attack. A nearby king had decided he wanted to expand his kingdom, no matter the casualties. As soon as Violet's mom heard the screaming she told Violet to hide under the bed and not come out until she returns. Then her mother ran outside but not before grabbing what seemed to be a shortsword. Violet listened to her mother and ran under the bed.

About 30 minutes later the door was busted open and in walked a tall muscular soldier holding her mother by the throat. Violet knew if she came out from hiding she would be in trouble. The mysterious man said, "Where is she?" and the mother repeated, "I told you she is not here, she is long gone far away and safe from your king."

The grip on her neck tightened and Violet could see her mother gasping for breath.

The man yelled "YOU CAN HIDE HER ALL YOU WANT THE KING OF REINHIM WILL HAVE HIS REWARD!!" with that he tightened his grip more and did not let go until her mother went limp.

Violet was covering her mouth and crying. The mysterious man threw her mother against the wall like a ragdoll. Violet was terrified by what she was witnessing.

He smelled the air and said out loud "I can smell you". Violet was stuck she had no clue how she was going to get out of this. While panicking she noticed that he has picked up the bed and was looking straight at her. Violet screamed, he went to grab her as she tried to escape.

In an instant, as she was trying to escape she noticed that the mysterious man had a sword tip sticking out of his chest. The next thing she knew he was limp and on the floor and looming over him was an elf.

The elf looked at Violet and said, "Hello my child my name is Deity, I am a friend of your father".

Violet had no idea what to say, or even think she was overwhelmed by all the events that just happened. With a shake breath she stands up. Trying to take in the events that just happened and process the horrors that just happened in her village. Deity kneels down to be eye level with Violet and gives her a hug and Violet breaks down.

Deity says "It is ok child we will avenge your mother".

Nothing else was said as Deity got up and led Violet out of her home. As Violet walked out she saw the full damage to her village. In this moment Violet experienced what revenge feels like.

Chapter 2

For the next part of her past we will do a montage, Deity takes Violet back to where he is staying in the Elven village in the forest Wonder. Their Violet had a hard time fitting in but Deity made sure that people got along with her, as Deity is seen as intimidating to other people in the village to Violet though she was her role model.

Over the next 20 years it was Deity and Violet training, going out to collect bounty's and many more adventures in Violet's realm. We have no real details about that time in her life as she wants to keep that part secret and sacred to her.

Violet now 25 years old feel she is ready to depart from Wonder and explore this realm by herself. She says goodbye to Deity and thanks him for everything he has done and taught her.

Violet now sets out on her own, for the next 50 years Violet sets out on her own learning and building her skills. Soon she creates a name for herself in her realm making her quite known.

Violet is now residing in the village Jicma, the reason she is here is she heard their is a very powerful witch in this village that is seeking something in exchange for anything. This peaked Violet's interest because she has wanted something for sometime because she is still hunting down the enemies that destroyed her village.

This witches name was Beatrice the great witch of Jicma known far and wide for her spells and powers she posses, some go to her for help others for more cynical things.

Violet ask one of the village folk where Beatrice is located and he says this, "She is located deep within the forest next to our village, be careful though she has plenty of protection spells so be cautious or you'll end up dead!"

Violet scoffs knowing she can handle this no problem. She heads on out to the forest. About four hours pass by and Violet begins to feel a certain aura surrounding the forest now, she knows she is close. She looks around to try and see if their is a house or something in the distance, she spots a door, but it is embedded into the side of the mountain.

This must be her house, Violet walks towards the house when all of a sudden Violet steps on a trip wire and a whole fleet of arrows come flying at her. Violet quickly avoids them will running towards the house. With each step she sets off more traps but Violet continues running and avoiding the obstacles.

Eventually she reaches the front door. Violet knocks on the door three times, and the door slowly opens, no one is behind the door so she goes in.

Chapter 3

Inside it looks like the typical house of a witch, their are pots and potion bottles spread out and about herbs and other things to make spells, books that contain information.

But in all that Violet notices that their is a baby crib in the room too and a rocking chair where she notices someone is sitting. The person sitting in the chair said "You have finally arrived, I know why you are here and I have been waiting a long time for you to come" the person in the chair stands up it is in fact Beatrice.

She stands at 4'7 with long black hair and green piercing eyes. Violet responds and says "What am I here for exactly?" testing the witch to see if she truly knows the purpose of her visit.

Beatrice responds with "You are here to trade your fertility for immortality" Violet is taken aback a bit by this because she has not told anyone about the reason she was going to see Beatrice so for the witch to guess on the spot made it clear she was very powerful.

Beatrice says "Do not be scared my child, for I am willing to do this trade because I had my fertility taken away from me sometime ago".

Violet says, "I have no emotional attachment to my ability to create children as I do not want them to experience what I had to so whenever you wish to make the trade".

With that Beatrice explains to her how the process of this, the operation to remove Violet's fertility and then giving her immortality is going to be extremely painful and Beatrice made sure to emphasize on this point.

Violet says, "Nothing can be more painful than watching your own mother die in front of you and watching the person who caused it still live and be prosper" with that the exchange happens and Beatrice gets her wish of being able to create children again and Violet gets graced with immortality.

Beatrice explains to Violet, "You will be able to live forever as long as you stay out of harms way, if you get hurt past the point of your body being able to regenerate or heal you will still die, that is the catch" with that Beatrice shoos Violet out and Violet leaves and goes back to the village.

Chapter 4

Those events in the village in the town of Jicma took Violet a year and then it took her a year to go back to her home. Now 77 years old, Violet sets plans her revenge. In her room there is a big board with a punch of pictures and pins. This board is how Violet has kept track of the people she is hunting down for revenge. From her board she realized that they were located back in Luanda where she grew up, well now it is called The Village of Richard.

Violet gathers everything she needs, her swords, vow and arrows and other things that help her in battle. She was off back to where she grew up to finish the job she was set for. Now Violet knew she is clearly outnumbered but she made some plans to get her close to the king. It takes Violet about 4 days to get to The Village of Richard. She posts up outside of the village in the woods hidden.

Close enough to watch, according to her info the king is in this village today visiting some family.

She spots a house with guards out front, that must be where he is located. Sneaking in the shadows Violet inches closer and closer to the house. She is close now and decides to sneak in through the window. No one was watching the back of the house so that was lucky. In the house she can hear people talking upstairs. Then she heard the words goodbye and she heard footsteps walking down the stairs. She knew it must be the king.

Violet's heart began beating faster, she could feel the adrenaline kick in as she waited for her prey to descend the stairs.

In an instant Violet flew towards the bottom of the steps and took a swung at the king she was so close she could feel it. All of a sudden Violet sees blue and black lighting coming towards her. She thinks "Oh s***" and gets blasted with a eldritch blast. BOOM! Violet goes through the house and out to the neighbors yard.

Violet is stunned frozen still for a moment trying to catch her breath. She did not see that coming, she knew the king had a witch as his right hand person but she did not expect the witch to be here today. Lying in the dirt all Violet feels is pain still trying to catch her breath. She hears people talking/yelling from the direction she came from.

She realizes she needs to get out if she wants to live. Violet struggles to stand up but eventually does and slowly runs to a spot where she can hide to recover a bit before she goes. Now hiding Violet hears the voices get closer. Being as quiet as she can Violet takes a listen to the conversation. She hears something about a bounty. Violet knew that the king was going to be putting a bounty on her head.

Violet struggles back home it takes her 8 days now to get back as she is injured. On her way back home she saw multiple bounty's in a town, one day she saw her picture drawn and on a bounty poster. To her surprise her name was on there. The king must have known who she was. She hurries back home to pack her things.

Chapter 5

As she arrives in her village she can hear people whispering and talking about her because she has also seen her bounty circulating around town. She hurries back to her home and grabs everything she can. All of a sudden she hears a loud knocking at the door. Violet curses in her head. She grabs what she has packed and some food and drink and escaped through her window. As soon as she did she heard the doors slam open. Making a quick escape she straps everything on her horse and sets off.

Violet travels a long time, through snow, rain, thunder, all the changing seasons. Violet travels across her realm on the run for a good 8 years. Hiding in the shadows making money to survive.

Then one day as Violet has stopped into town at a bar for a drink she notices some bounties that are posted from the Greedy Green realm. From what she read they were offering a lot of money.

This is the escape Violet needs, so she sets off to the Greedy Green. Now at 84 years old.

Now we never do learn the realm of where Violet came from as that is a secret. But her long winded journey to the Greedy Green realm took another 10 good years. As the venture was far away from where she was.

94 years old now Violet finally sets foot in the Greedy Green in the town Fyurl. Violet feels relief as she knows she successfully escaped her realm. Or has she?
