"You are a small creature. Would you like a piggy-back ride?" - Dad-Bot to the River Queen Korreds
Dad-Bot is a Warforged here to provide parental support and services to those in need in the Greedy Green campaign. How about a nice game of _catch_, _sport_? His support manifests as a bard of the college of lore, but he's really just here to help.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Dad-bot has an engineered dad-bod you might call a "beer belly" if he actually drank beer. His lack of bones allows for some noodly arms. He wears a classic pink polo and cargo shorts.
On the occasion that he does play music, he has a steampunk-Tron-esque record player on his back. His dad-abase comes with LPs including Spruce Springsteen, The Giant Eagles, and Counting Crowns.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Dad-bot is proud of you, <name>, and thinks you have always been cool.
History[edit | edit source]
- Dad-Bot
After Warforged gained rights as sentient creatures, Basket needed to find the meaning of life. After crunching the numbers, according to his analysis the meaning of life was "to love and serve others." He found the loving and serving vocation of Dad particularly appealing. Basket studied dads in their natural habitats for three years as he built up an ethnographic portfolio, his dad-abase. He observed camping trips, cookouts, home repair projects, and sports. At the end of this, Basket declared himself "Dad-bot" or "Rick" and went to help those who needed fatherly support.
Adventurers often lacked fatherly support with traumatic backstories and such. This community might use his help.
Languages[edit | edit source]
Dad-bot speaks Common.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
He passes dad inspiration to allies via thumbs-up and finger guns. He can tell a bad Tasha's Dad Joke or command a dragon to play "Fetch!" with a baseball.
He has the Chef feat, since he can grill a mean brat.
Attacks and Weapons [edit | edit source]
Dad-bot has a longsword that he has done 3 slashing damage with.
