Tristram Caniedydd is an Eladrin Bard of the College of Eloquence with a Charlatan Background.

Physical Appearance

Tristram Caniedydd is A tall Lean Elf like Humanoid with lute slung low and Autumn in his attitude. Steel Grey eyes peer out from an unruly mop of Emerald Green hair. Those eyes often twinkle with mischief, but the grey hardens to steel whenever they witness cruelty or oppression. On the road, the stylish but functional travelers clothing mostly conceal the Studded Leather armor underneath. When Tristram is performing in town square or homely tavern, he dresses much more grandly.

Often hidden is a mark over his left shoulder and neck, a black mark in the shape of a Dragon. This mark appeared when Tristram played a key role in the slaying of Thymor'ala the Black. This mark has imparted some usual magics to Tristram and when he avails himself of those magics, there seems to be a red glow from where the dragons' eyes would be.

Personality

Tristram is quick with a smile and eager to experience all that is to be seem in the world. Master of the Lute, the Flute, and Bagpipes he is quick to play and sing to bring life and enjoyment to a situation. Being a child of the Fey, I enjoy playing tricks upon those I meet. Good natured ones on most I meet, less good natured upon bullies or oppressors. I enjoy stacking games of chance in my favor and will often drop my winnings off at the local orphanage in coin or treat form. The money is not nearly as important as the act of tricking it out of those who clearly have too much.

I travel seeking to hone my craft of music and performance and would love to to find interesting ways to make music.

Balgeiros Quodrephostir the Elixer Merchant is often brought into play when the locals seems to have a need for his services. From herbal cures to home Brewed flasks of Ale the wares of this merchant varies with the needs of the customer.

WE have other personages that will be developed and fleshed out when need arises. Also as long as the forgery kit and disguise kit hold out.

History

I wanted to see the Material world after many years frolicking in the Fey. I find the inhabitants of non Fey realms are often stuffy and in need of entertainment and sometimes Elixirs. As the Elixirs I hand craft are often of dubious ingredients, and the customers are sometimes lacking in a sense of humor about random side effects, I felt that having a unaffiliated personage to sell them made some sense. I will often arrive in town as myself, then if there is a need of the locals for his services, I bring forth Balgeiros Quodrephostir the Elixer Merchant extraordinaire.

Both my Parents are alive and well in the wild, as are my two siblings, sisters both. One older and one younger. We had many a fun winters eve playing our various instruments and singing to while away the boring times.

On my travels I seek to learn new instruments and songs to share at the family hearth upon my return. I am a collector of tales and entertainment. Gold and gems are nice but I have found that people willingly toss them to me when I share my tales and songs on stages, so there is really not a great need to chase it. If I need coin for a purpose, it is no further than a quick performance to two away.

Powers and Abilities

I believe that fighting should be a last resort as it is wasteful and hurtful. If the wicked will not see the error of their ways or they try to harm me or those I care about, then all bets are off. I usually try to keep things from beating my face in, and will use my Rapier or Hand crossbow as necessary.

I am also know by several alter personages, primarily Balgeiros Quodrephostir the Elixer Merchant that I inhabit from time to time and place to place. There are more, but we shall see when and where they emerge.

I have a medical condition where my body does not create alcohol in my system naturally, so I have to take supplements for this fluid in dispensaries called taverns and Inns.

Attacks and Weapons 

My wit and words. I really do not wish harm upon those we encounter, and will use my spells and abilities to buff and heal the meat shields. I prefer to learn spells that have utility and do not have any damaging spells at this point.

I carry a hand crossbow which I will use because if they cannot punch me in the face, I will not bleed.

I carry a Rapier as well, known as Dracoscourge because, sometimes things are fast or move in before I can give them a buffer.

Philosophy

I have a slight distrust for those who will reach first for the sword before trying to reach an accord with words. There is enough repression in the multi universe that one does not need to smack first and ask questions later. Words are mightier than the sword.

Coins and valuables are only a means to purchase that which is important. The commodity that is most important is information, tales, stories, songs and lore. They can also be used to 'keep score' when used in trickery and subterfuge. I like to bilk the oppressive out of their ill gotten gains and pass on the that wealth to tavern keepers and serving wenches, they in return bring me the medical supliments to counteract my medical condition ( See Above in powers and abilities section)

Freedom and respect is utmost, my veneer of civility will go away when face to face with those who enslave innocents, forcefully restrain unlawfully, or subjugate others to their will.

I will never understand why most Paladins must negotiate by slapping or hitting other people.

I have a sever allergic reaction to big beasties punching me in the face. I found that this usually causes me to swell up and have blood loss, which brings discomfort, which only enough is another allergy of mine.
