Ysildra was an ancient white dragon who was slain in 894 PR in Eastern Amusa One of the oldest white dragons still alive, she had mothered many dragons over her lifetime, gaining her the title of the Mother in Ivory. She was the mother of the Half-Dragon Giant, Prince Ulftiir.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ysildra was a massive white dragon, with snow white scales tougher then steel and claws sharper then any blade. Her size was large even for a dragon and she had the strength to match.
History[edit | edit source]
Ysildra was one of the longest living white dragons in Quelmar history. Some theorized that she may have even been one of the very first. During The Holy War she mothered many white dragons who would join the fight before eventually being banished to the Plane of Ice. In the frozen wastes she would encounter the giants of The Frostfell Empire and forge and alliance with them. She would even go on to mate with one of the giant leaders and sire Prince Ulftiir who would go onto lead the empire.
When The Glacial Rift opened and a it was once again possible to enter into the material realm, Ysildra would join in her son's search for The Ring of Winter's Wrath. She would do her best to remain hidden, wanting to let her son have the spot light. Though she wasn't above taking humanoid form to taunt mortals.
She would later join her son to retrieve the ring in the Luggland mountains. After her son's demise though, in a rage she would carve a path of destruction across Amusa. A party of adventurers were able to draw her into an ambush using her son's head and manage to slay her deep within a ravine.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Ysildra had the power and might of an ancient dragon. When she was at her weakest point, she was able to call upon the cold of the plane of ice to revitalize her to keep on fighting.
