The Warden of the Wilds is a mysterious fey guardian inhabiting the wild jungles of western Amusa. Their primary goal is to protect the wilds at all costs and to keep the wilds natural and free from both those who wish to control or destroy them.
Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Warden is a tall graceful figure in an ethereal green cloak and hood. This cloak that seems to flow without wind covers most of their body save for their delicate pale hands and the bottom half of her face, showing only their mouth. Attempts to see more of the Warden's face have proved fruitless.
Personality[edit | edit source]
At all times the Warden is calm and composed, speaking in a quiet and toneless voice. Their top priority is to protect the wilds and the creatures that inhabit from outside forces. Though when a situation seems dire they are willing to work with outside civilizations to defeat a larger threat. They are quite intelligent with great knowledge of alchemical sciences, and when not preforming their duties as the wild's guardian, the warden will experiment with different chemical concoctions. The Warden seems to have either a friendly or at least neutral alliance with other inhabitants of the wilds including Grung and Fair Folk.
History[edit | edit source]
The Warden's history is yet unknown, though it is believed they were stationed by a higher power to protect the Wilds of Amusa.
In 893 PR the Warden made peace with a group of adventurers and researchers known as the Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company in return for the company assisting the Warden in dealing with fungal and ooze threats in the wilds. When the company saved a village of Grung children from Gnolls and Demonic Fungus, the Warden offered to are for the children in their domain. Later into their interactions with the company, the Warden bestowed upon them a staff crafted with powerful druidic energies which was designed to call the wilds to the company's aid in their greatest time of need. The staff would prove vital to the company's escape when the Gnoll Horde's of the demoness Mother would attack the camp.
Using their alchemical knowledge, with the company's help the Warden would begin to concoct a cure to the fungal disease of Mother that could be weaponized against her demonic servants.
