Lord Belovaar was a shadow empowered lord who came from The Shadowfell to Isonhound in an attempt to corrupt its feywild energies at some point in the 400s PR.
About
Belovaar was trapped in an obelisk just outside of the town of Luanda, presumably by powerful people on a mission to protect Isonhound, possibly the Wold Order or Sylvan Order, or possibly some of the contemporary heroes of the 400s PR.
History
Almost Released (825 PR)
During the slow and steady eruption of the Northern Snowy Mountains and the events leading up to The Umbral Flood, Belovaar's power became enhanced inside of his obelisk, leading to him shattering some of the arcane protections, and seeping small amounts of shadow energy into the surrounding landscape. To make matters worse, the obelisk itself had been damaged by the dragon Flame as he razed the land around Luanda.
Unfortunately for Belovaar, he quickly came face to face with Clank, an engineer and hero of the realm who specialized in fixing that which was broken. Once inside the Obelisk via an open ceiling hole, Clank could detect was had been jostled or broken, and restored the obelisk back into working condition, using magical fey runes and catalysts to ensure Belovaar could not escape.
