Mekisr di Bekilip, or simply Mek, was a small town located on the east coast of the Scurflink domain of Pteris during The Realm War as part of the Trudger Territory.

Mek's name is actually draconic for "The Edge of Destruction". The Trudger Giants named the town that as a warning to any oncoming dragons approaching Pteris from the dragon mainland of Kiston.
Mek has a population of 80% humans, 12% hobgoblins, and 8% giants. The chieftan of the town is the only giant to live among the smaller peoples, while other giants tend to live on the outskirts, closer to the fiddlehead mountains.
Being a coastal town, Mek had a decent port, with enough room to harbor 3 or 4 ships at a time.

In 10 PR, the chieftan of Mek was a hill giant named Chief Krusgir. That same year, the great merchant and showman Asar Partui toured Pteris lands to sell off his exotic slaves. Chief Krusgir bought a whole swath of slaves from the trader, including Jugbug, who he forced to perform all day in the town square to entertain the citizens of the town.
However, Krusgir's slaves would be revoked after Asar Partui's money was stolen by theOathWielders. Chief Krusgir would go with Asar to track down the punk known as Drake to get Asar's money back. But in the confrontation, the OathWielders took Asar's money, his slaves, and fled to Jewelspar.
