Prehistoric Article

This article contains information said to be from Prehistoric Times. The validity of prehistoric content is dubious at best due to poor recordkeeping in the era, and should be considered unreliable, or at best: Legend.

The Wand of the Spout (sometimes The Wand of the Feytouched Spout) was one of the four Tools of the Primordial Ancients.

About[edit | edit source]

The wand was said to have been forged by Istishia and given to the realm in Prehistoric times as a way to fight against the Gods.

At some point after the War of Essence, the wand was returned to Isle Meregrund, a roving fortress in the Quelmar oceans, which was staffed by a small but elite squad of Istishia's protectors, dedicated to keeping any pirates, heroes, or other parties from retrieving the wand.

The wand granted its wielder innumerous powers, including access to an especially rare and powerful Sphere spell known as Istishia's Sphere.

History[edit | edit source]

In 465 PR. the eladrin known only as The Paladin located and breached Isle Meregrund, retrieving the wand for himself.

In the final month of 465, the Paladin had been thwarted not once, but twice. And in revenge, the Paladin used the wand's immense power to freeze the realm's oceans. That was the beginning of a realm-wide event known as The Arctic Autumn.

The Paladin lost the wand in the Arctic Altercation, and it was given to AFEW, a squad of heroes-of-the-realm who dedicated themselves to destroying all four Tools of the Primordial Ancients.

The Wand was destroyed in 466 PR
