Dragonborn are a Race of humanoid creatures with a very strong Draconic heritage.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
There are three known variants of Dragonborn: Chromatic, Metallic, and Gem. The color of a Dragonborn's scales is determined by the color of their Draconic ancestor. Gem Dragonborn are substantially less common due to Gems being the most elusive type of Dragon and thus are the least likely to mingle with humanoid creatures.
It is uncommon for a Dragonborn to possess a tail, but not unheard of. A Dragonborn being born with a tail often correlates with an inherited potential to learn winged flight later in life (such as a Gem Dragonborn or a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer).
