Black Dragons were the most vicious and animalistic of them all, with a heart of coal and a desire to destroy all, they were considered the most dangerous dragon by many simply due to their unpredictability and usual unwillingness to cooperate or make compromises.

Thymor'ala is attacked in her own lair. Disaster ensues. - A black dragon who terrorized and killed the tribe of the lizardfolk Dur'kalak in the Burning Forests of Isonhound. By being the sole survivor of the attack, Dur'kalaka and Thymor'ala became archenemies.
- Thymor'ala also had a clutch of eggs she parented with the brass dragon Gideon
- Because Thymor'ala nested near a unique grove of feytouched herbs, one of the legendary hags known as The Mothers, sent in Greedy Greeners (including Dur'kalak himself!) to fend off the mom.
- The grove also meant that enhanced magical energies were coelescing through the Dragon's lair, and indeed through her blood, making Thymor'ala a competent spellcaster in her own right.
- When Dur'kalak realized this was the same dragon who slayed his tribe, he helped the team take her down. They were successful and slayed the dragon.
- Upon her death, the magical energies she was imbued with were dispersed among those present, granting them a magical Dragonmark of their own.
- Her eggs were not delivered to the mothers as some think, as it was instead ANOTHER tricksy fey...Tristram Caniedydd...who took the eggs for himself after the fight (and split them among friends Linden Rue and Pum).
- While Tristram and Linden would later take their eggs to rest in the Feywild, Pum took hers back to Seglock, stirring up rumors of Dragons in the city once again.
