Dragonborn are a Race of humanoid creatures with a very strong Draconic heritage.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
There are three known variants of Dragonborn: Chromatic, Metallic, and Gemstone. The color of a Dragonborn's scales is determined by the color of their Draconic ancestor. Gem Dragonborn are considerably less typical due to Gemstones being the most elusive type of Dragon and thus are the least likely to mingle with humanoid creatures.
It is not the norm for a Dragonborn to be born with a tail, but it is by no means unusual. In fact, many Dragonborn clans correlate possessing a tail with an inherited potential to learn winged flight later in life (such as a Gem Dragonborn or a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer).
