Tolmé Pendergras is the firstborn son of Colin Pendergras and Mila Perturb.

About[edit | edit source]

As someone with a quarter-elf blood, quarter-human blood, and half-gnome blood, Tolmé's tall and short heritage managed to work themselves out, making him an average height, human-looking individual, perhaps with slightly peculiar ears.

Tolmé seemingly had a tumultuous relationship with the entity that lurked around Isonhound known as The Curator.

History[edit | edit source]

In 825 PR Tolme was well underway with a secret project done in conjunction with artificers and librarians from Gammelgard and Synàra: The division of a new fleet of Airship, a model powered by Fellstone and Wovenstone, as well as Caeruleam. It harnessed the powers of the planes themselves and the essence of dragon fury to creature ultra powerful flight machines that would take forces to-and-from Kiston where the ongoing The War of Many Names was taking place.

The first batch of ships were secretly stored in a cliffside on the east coast of Isonhound, where 60 feet down the cliff, a massive opening allowed them to fly out of Isonhound in secret, deploying to Kiston with supplies and soldiers onboard.

The Umbral Flood and Umbralhound[edit | edit source]

During the Umbral Flood, Tolme was busy working in his factory in Sneerwell on some airship elements, when all of a sudden his factory was under attack by the Most Sanctified Disciples of Sardior, a group of warforged who had come to steal his Wovenstone and Caeruleam as part of their construction of a massive Clockwork Dragon mount.

Tolme was unable to hold off the invaders (who were being aided by some of the heroes of Isonhound) and eventually watched his city and factory fall victim to the outpouring of shadowfell energies that washed over Isonhound. Not staying to fall sick in his home, he traveled north to Seglock where he could find sanctuary thanks to the Crystal Moonwell there keeping the shadow energies back.

Once he studied the Moonwell, he traveled to Gammelgard where he could study the Topaz Astrolabe which was protecting the city there. After gathering his notes, he collected a crew of dwarves from Gammelgard, and a group of heroes from Seglock, including Vadath, Linden Rue, D'Kacilius, Drang, and Omen. With a full load and a brilliant idea brewing the crew now headed back to Sneerwell to delve into the remains of the corrupted factory.

By gathering some Laridium Wire and Cymulean Crystal from the ruined factory, Tolme had what he needed to create possible "Artificial Moonwells", which could keep more cities safe.
