Luanda is a village in Isonhound that holds a much deeper secret than it lets on.

Luanda's famous fondue-based tavern eatery was known as The Melted Muse, and it kept a massive cauldron the size of a small shed constantly stirring on a fire behind the tavern. The cauldron became a sort of landmark and icon for the riverside town.
World Beyond Worlds[edit | edit source]
While other Quelmarians believe that Luanda is a native establishment, built by Isonhound locals at some point in the mid PR era, it was in fact established in secret from visitors of another world, also known as Luanda. The hope was to use the cover story of being a small town to create a home base for suveying scouts having arrived in Quelmar from across the Astral Sea.
It is unknown if the locals of Luanda have any sort of quick transport system to go back to their home world, or if they are trapped on Quelmar until rescue can arrive.
History[edit | edit source]
In 825 PR the town was assaulted by a Blue Dragon that was chased off by the likes of Clank, Kaba, Naxxradormu, Orifyire, Rakim, and Rex.
During the celebration ceremony of the Dragon's dispersion, the town came under attack AGAIN by the legendary Red Dragon known as Flame. Unfortunately Flame was bigger and badder than the Blue Dragon, so the heroes had to flee the siege, leaving Luanda to defend for itself. It is currently unknown if the little town survived the assault.
Notable Natives[edit | edit source]
- Violet Lorinda, a native of the world of Luanda, now residing on Quelmar.
- Deity, an ally of Violet's, and a member of the Wold Order, who warns them of threats from beyond the stars.
- Lorita, a gnome tinkerer native of Quelmar who was oblivious to the secret history of her little home village.
