Physical Appearance[edit | edit source]
Bulio is a tall lanky figure in a dark cloak, wearing a large wooden dragon mask. It is unknown what race he is and no one as of yest has seen him without his mask on.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Bulio is very odd and excitable, especially when someone offers to buy an item from his shop. He speaks in quick sentences that seem to loop back on themselves and is very protective of his gold and wares. He prioritizes profit above many things, and is not above shady dealings to make some quick coin. Though to those customers that are loyal to him, he is a benevolent ally.
Bulio's Bobbles and Boons[edit | edit source]
This shop is run out of a large wooden wagon filled with a wide variety of different magical items and relics that Bulio has encountered over his large journeys. The cart is pulled by Duuk and from it Bulio will sell his product to whoever he encounters on his travels.
History[edit | edit source]
Much of Bulio's origins is unknown, though is is known he has traveled far and wide across the continents peddling his many eccentric wares.
In 831 PR, Bulio was scammed and sold a fake Great Wyrm Gem, an artifact that could greatly expand ones life. Working together with his fellow merchant in arms, Stan, Bulio and Stan infiltrated a merchant's manor house in the city of Deeplake to retrieve the gem.
In 893 PR Bulio was encountered by a group of adventurers at the ruin of the basecamp of Perseus Company for whom he had been selling his goods. In exchange for some of his products free of charge, the party directed Bulio to their new basecamp where he could continue his business. From then on he would become a permanent fixture of the Tempest brothers basecamp in the Amusan wilds. After the basecamp was raided by Gnolls, he would travel with the company to the city of Galik, and then later out to the company's new home, Tempest's Landing.
During this time he would become both beloved and infamous by the members of the company, some enjoying his presence while others being annoyed at his greedy antics. Some members of the company suspect that Bulio was the mysterious stranger who tricked the aberrant dragon Alkinimic to trade all his his gold for much cheaper bronze.
During the company's exploration of the mysterious treasure of Wyvern's Roost Crater, the Lost Hoard, and their subsequent battle with the horrors within, Bulio would come to aid the company, but not before recovering the vast riches within the crater. After the company members escaped the wreckage of the battle, they found a note and a massive pile of gold at Tempest's Landing. In this note, Bulio thanked the company for their patronage, gifting them their cut of the wealth from the Lost Hoard, and revealing the truth of his identity as the archdevil Mammon in hiding.
Languages[edit | edit source]
As of this point it is known that Bulio can speak Common and Draconic.
Attacks and Weapons [edit | edit source]
While Bulio lets Duuk do most of the protecting for his shop, Bulio does carry a rifle which he keeps concealed in his cart.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
Thordon Akieye[edit | edit source]
Bulio has a tense relationship with the barbarian warrior Thordon ever since Thordon wore a costume in the guise of Bulio to a party and "stole Bulio's identity."
Redemption Core[edit | edit source]
Bulio still owes Redemption a cloak of displacement. Wonder when he will get around to that...
Pash[edit | edit source]
Pash was one of Bulio's closest friends in the company, with Pash being one of the few people Bulio ever revealed his true face and identity to.
