The Gnoll Counter-Offensive was a battle fought between the armies and heroes of Amusa against the Gnoll forces at [{Camp Emberclaw]], an underground Gnoll stronghold hidden in the wilds which served as the center for all the Gnolls' operations. The battle was fought on two fronts, one being the armies of Amusa directly engaging the Gnoll armies, and the second being a small strike team whose job it was to infiltrate the camp and destroy it from the inside. In the end both fronts were successful and the camp was destroyed, scattering the Gnoll forces.

The forces of Amusa consisted of soldiers and warriors from Galik, Nestle, the druidic village of Thistlebrook, the Church of Lathander, the village of Escargotia, the Church of Beshaba, The Tempest Brothers Expeditionary Company, and many other heroes from around Western Amusa.

The Gnolls of Camp Emberclaw[edit | edit source]
Organized by The Gnoll King using the power and influence of the demoness Mother, the Gnoll Horde had been a thorn in Western Amusa's side for a good while. The camp was built by the Gnoll artificer Ripjaw and served as the base of command for the horde. The camo became an even greater threat to the continent when it's arcane forge was rebuilt, prompting the cities and organizations of Amusa to take action. After the camp's destruction, the Gnolls were unable to reorganize as they once had and broke back up into small packs.
Notable Losses[edit | edit source]
During the battle The Gnoll King took to the front lines, only to fall in battle. When the camp was destroyed, most Gnolls present were killed.
Battlefronts[edit | edit source]
The Gnoll Counter-Offensive was fought across two fronts, on the surface above the camp, and underground within the camp. The former front was to serve as a distraction for the ladder.
The Surface[edit | edit source]
In order to distract the Gnolls the forces of Amusa mustered up as many warriors as they could and marched on the camp, engaging the Gnolls directly in battle. The Gnoll King engaged in this front, where he was slain.
The Underground[edit | edit source]
The underground front consisted of a small team of heroes whose job it was to infiltrate the underground camp, destroy the arcane forge within, and hopefully collapse the cavern itself. The team managed to overload the forge and caused a massive explosion, destroying the camp
