Quelmar has been home to hundreds of player characters over its decade of storytelling. This list details Quelmar's most Iconic Characters, who are exemplary icons of the Quelmar mission to build quality, connected stories.
Getting on the LEGN List
To keep as objective a list as possible in a world with countless PCs, we determined that an Iconic PC is qualified by achieving 2 or more of the 4 traits below:
- Lore Legend: The character's wiki entry has at least 2000 words written about them on the Quelmar wiki, which can sometimes include a secondary page such as The Secret Origin Therrin Flare or The History of Violet Lorinda.
- Eternal Echo: The character achieved some sort of long-lasting ascension at the conclusion of their story, which often takes the form of a sacrifice or a transformation into a more powerful figure.
- Game Guru: There have been at least 15 sessions of gameplay where the character has been played as a PC (cameos, NPC, or off-screen mentions do not count)
- Notable Nexus: The character must have left a significant and documented mark on the realm long-term. This is based on how much the character is mentioned elsewhere. The character's main page has at least 30 other pages link to it that are:
- In the Main Namespace (ie not Help, GM, Template, etc.)
- Not on a page that simply lists characters (ie Campaign/PCs or "List of Galik PCs")
- Are not Campaign or Campaign Subpages (ie "Campaign Name/NPCs" or "Campaign Name/Story So Far")
- Not Disambiguation Pages
- Plus at least 10 of those qualifying 30 links must not be other PCs or Campaign Session pages (ie Story So Far, Recaps, PC Lists)
