Corduth, in particular, wants to use the wish to grant his lost goddess Tiamat enough power that she can return to wage war on the realm (a bit of foreshadowing 5 seasons in the making).

About[edit | edit source]

A map of all the places traveled and explored during the Towson Tabletop campaign

Towson Tabletop was a ~50 player campaign that ran between the end of 2014 and mid 2016.

While the campaign had nearly 80 characters, took place over 100 years, and spanned all across northern and eastern Osugbo, it told a singular story of Kragnux, a deity who was born out of a player character, who would go on to be a prominent god for the next 100 years or so, and would eventually sacrifice himself in order to free Bahamut.

A major recurring event in the campaign involved the The Ten Heralds of Tiamat, a group of dragons who were said to emerge as Tiamat's return to the realm drew closer. Five of the ten were slain in this campaign, and the return of Tiamat took place in the year 793, towards the final seasons. Though the players tackled Tiamat on two occasions, it was Bahamut's return that marked their greatest effect on the second draconic war.

Players and Characters[edit | edit source]

NPCs[edit | edit source]

Sessions[edit | edit source]

Season 1: The Arms of Sin (Spring Semester 2015)[edit | edit source]

In this innocent, highly improvised (and quite silly) season, Quelmar meets a whole plethora of new heroes, and their first quest becomes obtaining all of the artifacts known as The 7 Arms of Sin, as they hear that having all 7 will grant the weapon-wielding a WISH!

However, in the process, they must fight off a rival gang (The Chaos Controllers) and the dragon Corduth (one of the realm's only dragons) as both parties also try to get the wish for their own means. Corduth, in particular, wants to use the wish to grant his lost goddess Tiamat enough power that she can return to wage war on the realm (a bit of foreshadowing 5 seasons in the making).

Season 2: Stranded on Cof (Summer semester 2015)[edit | edit source]

In this mini season, the religion of Kragnux must be SPREAD! As there's no room for caution, the team decides the first place to spread the word of Kragnux is the deadliest place in the realm, the dead-center of everything on a mysterious (and locked) continent known as KISTON.

However, since Kiston is locked, they end up crash landing on one of Kiston's orbital islands, where one of the Island Guardians lives. This season focused heavily on survival and crafting mechanics, with the players forging their own colony, and slowly discovering what the dragon at the top of the island's sole mountain was. Turns out it was not a normal dragon, but a time dragon.

Side plots involved Xerda and Torna falling in love, Anyrion dying, and making friends with the local dinosaurs (while simultaneously making enemies with the local Yuan-Ti).

Season 3: Contrivance of Cognizance (Fall semester 2015)[edit | edit source]

This season is most important for introducing Warforged to Quelmar for the first time. After the mysterious time dragon on Cof sends the island 100 years into the future, they discover that a race of mechanical beings has made themselves known in the realm. More than that, these Warforged are being used by Kragnux! In the last 100 years, the small relgion that they were the first missionaries of became a massive success, worshipped in all corners of the realm by those who believe Kragnux protects the world from Dragons, and that's why it has been a relatively peaceful 100 years.

On the downside, the religion is STUPIDLY crusade-obsessed. With no actual dragons to slay, the church of Kragnux has killed Dragonborns, Lizardfolk, Kobolds, and anything else remotely draconic. It's up to the old friends of Kragnux to fight the new Friends of Kragnux to reclaim the religion THEY founded. This season is essentially split into two factions, those who are more interested in the Warforged, who they are, why they exist, and how they were created----and the main faction who are working to reclaim the church.

Season 4: He'll Own Earth (Winter semester 2016)[edit | edit source]

In this mini season, all plans are interrupted as Asmodeus has enacted his own personal agenda....destroying the realm with hellfire and claiming it as his own. Only the heroes known as The Best Around (now calling themselves The Last Around) can fight Asmoedus in the court of gods (with a small cameo from Kragnux) and save the day.

Season 5: One Last Dig (Spring semester 2016)[edit | edit source]

With the realm saved again, and the church now in the right hands, it was time for the boat to REALLY be rocked. This time in the form of Tiamat's return (an event foreshadowed in Season 3 with an aspect of Tiamat appearing and starting an attack on Dolmvay).

Now that the prophecies have come true, it is the destiny of Kragnux, who calls himself the Dragon Slayer, to finally prove his worth. With all the power of the realm's believers behind him. He.....uh....well. You'll have to read the synopsis for the final episodes to see what happened.
